The Services are not intended for distribution or use where prohibited by law. You are responsible for complying with local laws when accessing the Services.

Industry‑specific compliance: The Services are not designed to comply with industry‑specific regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA). Do not use the Services in any way that would subject us to such regimes.

We do not provide custody, trading, execution, brokerage, or investment management services.

3. Accounts & Registration

You may need an account to use the Services. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account. We may refuse, reclaim, or change a username that is inappropriate, infringes rights, or otherwise objectionable.

Account sharing is not permitted. One account per individual; organisational access requires our written permission.

If you provide inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information, we may suspend or terminate your account.

4. Membership Plans, Features & Access (Lite, Pro, Legacy)

Two‑tier model: The Club offers Lite and Pro plans. Features may vary by tier and are described on the Site. Highlights:

  • Overview Page: Centralised widgets for other features. Lite & Pro access.
  • Discord Feed (formerly "Research Feed"): Three one‑way channels integrated from Discord. Lite & Pro can view. Posts by CBC Detectives are member‑generated and not the words or views of Coin Bureau.
  • Altcoin Reviews: High‑quality video reviews with enhanced search/filter. Pro & Legacy receive 24‑hour early access (window subject to change); general availability thereafter.
  • Altcoin Poll: Voting on which coin we review next. Pro & Legacy voting access.

Legacy Members: All existing members at time of overhaul retain Pro‑level features and their legacy price while the account remains active, subject to the three (3)‑day payment failure grace period in Section 8.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Changes

Unless otherwise stated on the Site, prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT / sales tax, which may be added where applicable.

  • Legacy price: Existing members keep the legacy price of $59.99/month or $599.99/year (taxes excluded). Prices could be $49.99/$499.99 depending on when a user joined. While their subscription remains active and in good standing, subject to Section 8.
  • Lite / Pro pricing: Current tier prices are listed on the Site and may change. Price changes will not take effect if you are already subscribed unless you leave active subscription.

We may correct pricing errors even after an order is placed.

6. Payments & Auto‑Renewal

Accepted methods:

  • Cards via Stripe (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Cryptocurrency (ETH or BTC) — Annual only, non‑recurring

By purchasing a recurring plan (e.g., monthly or annual card/PayPal), you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel (Section 8). Keep your payment details current. If a payment is declined, we may retry and/or suspend access until payment succeeds.

Payment processing is handled by third‑party processors. Additional processor terms or exchange fees may apply.

7. Upgrades, Downgrades, Proration & Credits

General rules (card/PayPal plans):

  • Upgrades (Lite → Pro): You can upgrade at any time. A pro‑rata charge for the remainder of your current billing period will apply, and Pro features typically unlock immediately upon successful payment.
  • Downgrades (Pro → Lite): You may downgrade once per calendar month. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal unless stated otherwise on the Site.

Annual Crypto Subscriptions (ETH/BTC):

  • Non‑recurring; you must manually renew at term end to continue access.
  • Downgrades are not available for Annual Crypto Subscriptions.
  • Upgrades (e.g., to Pro features) are available only via crypto, subject to instructions and any additional amount payable.
  • Unless required by law, no refunds or cash‑equivalents are provided.

Note: For stripe (card) any upgrades/downgrades are actioned immediately and proration is applied for the next cycle

8. Cancellation, Refunds & Legacy Grace Period

Cancel anytime: You may cancel at any time through Settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term; you will retain access until that date.

Refunds: Except where required by law or stated on the Site for a particular promotion or region, fees are non‑refundable and there are no refunds for partially used periods.

Legacy Members — payment failure grace: If a Legacy Member's recurring payment fails, we provide a three (3)‑day grace period to resolve the issue. If payment is not successfully completed within that window, Legacy status and pricing are lost.

Annual Crypto Subscriptions: Due to the nature of cryptocurrency transactions and volatility, all crypto payments are final and non‑refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
